The Central Organisation of Trade Union (COTU) Secretary General, Francis Atwoli, has threatened to name individuals in the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, accused of engaging in criminal activities by the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol).
Speaking during the regional trade conference in Nairobi, Atwoli claimed that he got credible information from the International Agency of the cartels both in Government and outside, who have been ‘eating’ public money and mortgaging the country in the name of tenders.
The COTU boss said he is still seeking to share information with the relevant Government agencies before making public the names.
He noted that he loved Uhuru/ Ruto’s Jubilee Government so much that he would do anything to protect it from being brought down by few greedy individuals.
“I don’t want Uhuru/ Ruto’s administration to fall into the trap of the cartels who have exploited the country in the past regimes. Kenyans have a right to be served by people of high integrity who will not waste public funds”, said Atwoli.
He further alleged that the same cartels are behind the scandalous railway project where Kenya stands to lose billions of shillings.

Homa Bay Senator, Otieno Kajwang, has once again lashed out at Budalangi Member of Parliament, Ababu Namwamba, accusing him of being incapable of leading Kenya’s biggest party, ODM.
Speaking yesterday while drumming up support for nominated Senator Agnes Zani for ODM Secretary General post, Kajwang described Namwamba as an academic dwarf who cannot drive the party professionally.
On the other hand, Kajwang described Zani as an academic giant and ODM’s think tank just like her predecessor, Prof. Anyang Nyongo.
The Homa Bay legislator, who is among those favoured by Raila Odinga for ODM’s top seats, noted that ODM was moving forward and that they would not replace a whole professor like Anyang Nyongo with someone like Namwamba, who only has one degree.
He said Zani is best placed to replace Nyong’o after having contributed immensely to the party, including dissuading the Coastal people who wanted to form their own party to ODM compared to the rivals, who do nothing rather than shout all the time.
“Raila saw her potential and that’s why he gave Zani a chance at the Senate. Therefore nobody should say that she is new to ODM”, stated Kajwang.
Singer Marya has had a change of heart. Just weeks after revealing she had decided to become a lesbian, the Ogopa dj singer seems to have changed her mind. She is not interested in any relationship at all. Sorry boys and girls.
The singer told a local entertainment weekly newspaper that she was not searching any more. Instead, she will be putting that time to better use… concentrating on her music.
“I just want to concentrate on my business and music. All this other side shows are not adding any value to my life.”
